PayGear Review
PayGear has wasted no time in quickly becoming the easy favorite in affiliate management industry. Why have they been so successful? Easy, asking their customers what they want and then giving them exactly that.
PayGear latest release basically took every affiliate management tool and combined them into one super system which is we call PayGear.com. With so many amazing features, including some you will not find anywhere else, PayGear is quickly acquiring new customers and soon to be a house hold name. The words on the forums, once you try PayGear you never go back.
Their top of the line software is only accompanied by the lowest prices in the industry. What? Yes, is exactly correct.
How does their competition compete by offering less and charging more? We don’t really understand that one either.
Some of our favorite features included a free account, instant product approval, shopping cart application, 3 different payment processors, user friendly navigation, sell digital or physical goods, checkout page analytics, and custom pages that can be created to exactly match the theme of your website. We also appreciate the fact that vendors receive payments in real time vs. waiting several weeks for payment. When the customer pays you, you get paid.
Why no one else has figured out a way to allow users to check out multiple products on one checkout page is beyond me. PayGear has done it, our hats are off to you.
One of the more surprising features is that PayGear gives its customer free membership software called MembersGear. This allows anyone to set up a membership website at zero cost. Other similar membership software products charge anywhere from $200 to several thousand, PayGear customers get unlimited installs of the software for free. This can be a huge help especially if your just starting out.
Highly recommended in every aspect, product delivery and their low prices put them far above the rest of the field.
Plimus is another favorite in the affiliate management industry. The service provides a way for online business to sell their products and interact with their customers and recruit a team of affiliates.
Plimus comes with many great features such as complete customizability of your checkout pages, an affiliate marketplace, multiple payment options, and step by step tutorials for easier set up.
Like with PayGear, Plimus also allows its users to insert analytics tracking on their checkout page. A great feature for those who like stats and the ability to see what is happening once the customer clicks the buy button.
What we did not like was the high processing fees that were about 10%, however the more sales you make the lower those go. If you make tones of sales you can reduce your fees to as low as about 6%.
One of the largest issues with Plimus is that they call the customers who bought your product to confirm the order. This robot caller also does not call right away, it takes several hour after the order was placed. If the customer misses the phone call it may take a few days for the robot to call back again. If the customer misses that call Plimus can refund the order and the revenue is lost to you despite it being a good order.
Oddly enough in our test with Plimus we did not receive our affiliate commission on time. We called Plimus and asked what the issue was, it was then quickly corrected and our commission was sent.
We found that their phone support was good, but their email support was extremely slow.
Plimus is used by many and customers seem to have both a love hate relationship with Plimus, the ones that love them sware by them, the ones who hate Plimus never return.

ClickBank Review
Clickbank has been around for a long time and although is a good product some of their business practices has given them a reputation that is far from good.
If you want to accept credit cards and don’t have your own gateway in place ClickBank can provide their own credit card checkout system to you in only a day or two if you are accepted. It’s easy, just apply and wait for your answer.
Of course the downside is you have to pay ClickBank about 10% of your order price if you want to use their gateway. If you want your own gateway for less than half that price you’re looking at a 2 day set up anyway. And because the orders are processed in ClickBanks name and the buyer receives your product, they may forget what they purchased when they see ClickBank on their credit card statement. That likely means a call to the credit card and a refund.
However, that’s not even the worst part about the refund. What’s even worse is those people who have bought a ClickBank product before knows they can just ask ClickBank to refund them and ClickBank does with or without a reason.
The best part about ClickBank is the easy set up. Unfortunately you have to set your product up before you can be accepted, so you run the risk of setting up only to be denied. Another big complaint is that you cannot contact your affiliates, if you want to run a special offer or for whatever reason you need to contact your affiliates, ClickBank does not allow you to.
We also really did not like the fact that we have to make 5 different sales in order to be paid, with 1 being Visa and 1 being MasterCard. This does not make any sense to us. So if you make 10 sales by Visa, 10 by PayPal and have say a $1000 check coming to you, it will not get send until someone with MasterCard orders? Weird!
As long as you don’t mind playing huge transaction fees along with some funky business practices ClickBank may fit nicely with your business, just be aware what you’re getting yourself into.
